New Pathways Magazine has published an article in its October/November issue by Prof Jelinek, arguing that the conflict between the drug-focused approach to MS espoused by traditional medical practitioners and the healthy living approach proposed by many other health practitioners is damaging to people with MS, who find themselves stuck in the middle of the argument. The Professor suggests that for people with MS it is important to take the best of what is on offer from all the available therapies, depending on their circumstances. For some people this will involve taking disease-modifying medications, and for others this may not. In the end, these are very personal choices. It is important to find a practitioner that supports these choices. Back to News listing
